This hospital based in Bijapur, Karnataka is mainly designed as a maternity home with simple but functional planning. Sited on a rectangular plot of size 32′ X 33′ (i.e. 1056 Sq. Ft. in area.) abutting to a road in west.
The plot is surrounded by buildings on all three side leading to a structure having common walls. but our designers have designed the space so well that, it provides proper light and ventilation through a cut out in central part, opening on terrace, making the internal space airy and illuminated.
It is a G+1 structure (ground + 1 floor). Ground floor plan is designed by keeping in mind the need for emergency services and regular premedical checkup facilities, including a reception and waiting area and a medical shop for convenience of patients. The ground floor plan includes two consultancy rooms, 1 for regular patients and another attached with a lab area used for sonography and other tests such as blood checkups etc. including toilet, a labour room and labour ward having two beds each.
First floor plan serves with provision of two special rooms( 1 bed each), one four bedded general ward and 1 Operation theater each space provided with attached toilet.
