A G+4 School building designed on a rectangular plot of sixe 132’X278′, abutting to a main road in east direction.It is a
Pre-primary to higher secondary school named Blossom Children’s academy proposed at Wai (Sarat Dist.) Maharashtra . It has a rectangular layout fr floor plan with courtyard planning concept. his building block is placed towards rear end i.e. in west & in front it has a huge open space, which can be used as play ground with an entry exit point in north east corner of the site. the site has a 10′ wide periphery road for fire safety purposes.
Ground floor has two stepped entrances which open in central waiting and reception which is designed in such a way that, it can be used as stage for annual functions.This area also acts as circulation space for stairs & lift, this lobby cum waiting/reception area is connected with 8′ wide passages too, which provides access to a Principal’s and chairman’s office/cabin with attached toilets & a separate waiting area in center, a conference room, a classroom for play group, 6 class rooms for Nursery, junior K.G. and senior K.G., a staff room with attached toilets, common toilets for boys and girls, a pantry with store, account section with one office & a library for students. The 8′ wide passages create a rectangular space in center which is designed as an indoor play area for pre primary and primary section.
First & second floor have a typical floor plan which has same profile of passage area as on ground floor with central cut out space & stairs & lift for vertical circulation, these floors have 10 class rooms each with an office with attached toilet & waiting area for the same, separate common toilets for boys & girls & a staff room with attached toilets.
Here first floor has 2 class each for standard 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th respectively, while on 2nd floor it has class rooms for 6th to 10th standard. Third floor has 4 class rooms for 11th & 12th standard & 3 science labs for chemistry, Biology & physics respectively & a Computer lab made by combining an area of 1 & 1/2 class rooms to gather.It has all other spaces same as on other floors.
Form this floor it has one more staircase which is provided for accessing the fourth floor for staff & students, which reaches to back stage area of Auditorium/ Multipurpose hall on 4th floor. Fourth floor has an Auditorium/ Multipurpose hall which has a capacity of accommodating 650-700 people with a 3′ raised stage. Its back stage area has 8′ wide passage which provides access to a green room, a Gymnasium cum games room , an art room, a music room, a rest room for guests with attached toilet & common toilets for boys & girls.
Here the lobby in front of staircase & lift acts as cafeteria for students with grass facade which has service area and kitchen area which can also useful at the times of Annual Function. Terrace floor has a huge terrace area & stair cabin for stairs & lift.
